The Oak & Ash BBQ
Let me tell you why I created Oak & Ash BBQ.
I’ve traveled all over the country, eaten barbecue in roadside joints, backyard competitions, and smokehouses that have been around longer than I’ve been alive. And no matter where you go Texas, Carolina, Memphis, Kansas City…. barbecue tells a story. It’s slow, it’s soulful, it’s bold, and it brings people together. That’s the spirit behind Oak & Ash.
This concept is my take on what American BBQ should be when it meets the speed and energy of a modern campus. We’re talking about real smokehouse flavor, done fast and done right. From pulled pork that’s tender with just the right bark, to hot honey chicken sandwiches, brisket mac bowls, crispy slaw, house pickles, scratch-made sauces, it’s everything people love about BBQ, but in a format that fits into a student’s day.
It’s craveable, comforting, and totally legit, whether you’ve got 15 minutes between classes or you just need something that feels like home. And because we’re building this for everyone, we’ve got vegetarian and allergen-friendly options that still pack the same bold, smoky punch.
Oak & Ash isn’t a theme, it’s a flavor journey. It’s an experience. It’s barbecue done with pride, passion, and a little bit of swagger. And I can’t wait to see it light up these campuses.
